Operating A Live-Service Game

Live-service games depend on consistent updates to keep the experience fresh. During my time working on Case Paradise, I regularly introduced new cases, features, and limited content to give players new reasons to return.

New cases were added on a recurring schedule, with updates happening approximately every other week depending on the content cycle.

Creating New Case Experiences

Each new case required more than adding items. The content needed appropriate rewards, balancing, presentation, and integration with the existing case-opening ecosystem.

I worked on bringing new case experiences into the game, including themed cases such as a Roblox Plus case that connected with the wider Roblox community.

Balancing Fresh Content

Frequent updates require maintaining a balance between introducing exciting new content and keeping existing systems healthy.

New cases needed to fit into the game's economy while still giving players a reason to explore new releases.

Lessons Learned

Working on live content showed that successful updates are not only about adding features. They are about understanding what keeps players engaged and building a consistent rhythm of new experiences.
